Last Game of The Year for the Seniors
The Seniors played their final game of the League for 2009 when they took on Kiltubrid on Saturday evening last in Melvin Park.
The Kiltubrid team are in the running for a place in the League Final and were they showed more hunger than the Gaels. Kiltubrid won on a scoreline of 2-8 to 1-8.
The Gaels played some good football at times but two goals from Kiltubrid in the first half, meant that they were always playing catch-up.
All in all it was a disappointing League campaign for the Gaels in 2009.
All we can do is look forward to 2010.
Under 21
The Under 21 team take on Gortletterragh in a preliminary Round in Ballinaglera on Saturday evening at 5pm in Ballinaglera.

Lotto Draw
The numbers drawn in the Melvin Gaels Lotto Draw held in The Wellington Bar were- 6,7,13 and 17.
There was no Jackpot winner.
Other winners were- €40 Catherine Sheridan, Kinlough, €20 each James Mc Gowan, Laughta, Kinlough, Mush Callaghan, Lucan and Bill Likely, Parke, Kinlough.
Next draw will be held in The Dew Drop Inn, Tullaghan on Sunday next October 18.

Club Meeting
There will be a Club meeting at 8pm on Wednesday night.
